Invensys pharmaceutical industry experts to present technical papers at INTERPHEX 2005 Conference

Topics include regulatory issues of PAT and managing large-scale projects in a regulated environment

FOXBORO, MASSACHUSETTS, USA – March 18, 2005 – Invensys Process Systems will be demonstrating it’s broad range of performance-enhancing pharmaceutical manufacturing solutions from Foxboro, Wonderware, SimSci-Esscor, Avantis, and Invensys Validation Technologies at INTERPHEX 2005 Expo Booth #1505 in New York, April 26-28th. Managing a Large Scale Pharmaceutical Project (Tuesday, April 26th, 2:30-3:20 PM)
This presentation by Tania Simoncelli of Invensys Validation Technologies will discuss approaches for managing large-scale pharmaceutical facility construction or expansion projects within a highly regulated environment. To illustrate how project management principles are related to validation, a case study on a clinical supplies manufacturing R&D facility will be described.

Implementing PAT in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Tuesday, April 26th, workshop runs from 1:30-4:20 PM).
As part of an in-depth workshop on thermal effusitivity as a PAT solution in fluidized bed dryers, Normand Dubuc and Tracy Davis from Invensys Validation Technologies will discuss the regulatory issues associated with implementing PAT in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Normand and Tracy will then participate in a round table panel discussion on PAT, moderated by Dr. Nancy Mathis of Mathis Instruments, Ltd.
